About a year ago my 19 year old son lost almost 3 stone in a space of a month and suffered bleeding and we still couldn’t find out what was going on. Doctors could not do anything, hospitals could not do anything and to be honest, we thought the worst. One day I felt in my spirit to pick my guitar up and just play, I really felt the Lord speaking to me. So I did just that, I picked up the guitar and started to play. Within 15 minutes I wrote down a song. And the song was really me crying out to God for healing of my son. I just gave it all to him and sang the words that God had put on my heart. My son came round one day and I told him what had happened and he sat down and I played the song for him called "My Prayer". My son had tears in his eyes. My wife also cried and I felt very emotional. From that moment, my son has been fully and completely healed. He has gained weight and doing really well. He has not been back to the docs or hospital. I have been working with George Barton from Scotland and Timothy Davis from Ridgewood Recording Studios in Columbia Mississippi on this song. The song (My Prayer) is going to be released this year on social media and download sites, such as iTunes etc. I hope and pray this song will bless you as much as it has blessed me and my family. This song really means so much to us and I am so thankful to God for giving me this song and for his miracle healing on my son.

Although he only recently joined the gospel music community, Joe Richard grew up surrounded by instruments and music. His dad had a country band that would practice at their house, and little 5-year-old Joe hopped right on up to the drumset to give it a try. For his next birthday, Joe got a drum set of his own.
He played and sang with a bunch of different bands, and his group, ‘The Ramblin Band,’ eventually opened for some well-known bands like Charlie Daniels and David Allan Co. Unfortunately, his musical success led him down a path to drugs and alcohol. Without direction, Joe filled his emptiness with sin instead of God’s love.
After watching his wife’s uncle get baptized in a river and witnessing how His grace can save, Joe and his wife both decided to give themselves to God and got baptized in that same river. Since then, Joe has devoted his musical talent to the Lord and created inspiring Christian music.
In his song, ‘Roots,’ Joe describes the downfall of a man with no faith that finally finds God’s grace. The story is very similar to his own and can relate to so many people that may have lost their faith or were never shown the way.
