One dog, involved in a horrible accident as a puppy, has adjusted and now walks upright, on his back legs like a human being.

Animals are amazing creatures. Dogs and cats are loving, loyal and dependable beings. They make wonderful friends and companions. They are also some of the most resilient creatures, able to keep going and persevere whenever they encounter hardship and trials.

A clip posted on YouTube shows an example of one dog who refused to give up when doing so would have been much easier. Dexter, an 8-year-old Brittany, walks on his hind legs everywhere, much like a human being.

As a puppy, Dexter got out, resulting in an accident that led to the animal learning a new and unique way to travel from Point A to Point B. 

“A moving van had slowed way down, but he ran right in front of the moving van,” Kentee Pasek, Dexter’s owner, recalled. “His legs kind of got caught. We were lucky because it was just his front legs.”

Dexter went to the vet, where he underwent surgery and later returned home to recuperate from the incident. 

But one morning, as Kentee was preparing her morning coffee, something happened that caught her off guard. 

“I carried him down. I had coffee pre-made,” Kentee said. “I went and got my coffee mug so I could drink coffee outside. And I came back out, and he was up on the porch.”

She was baffled and puzzled how the dog, who refused to put much weight on his remaining front leg, reached the porch. 

Kentee says the first time she witnessed Dexter walk upright, she responded, exclaiming, “Oh my gosh, dog!”

Dexter, the dog who walks like a human, has regular vet appointments and is healthy. There are no issues with his spine or his back legs. 

Kentee believes there is a lot everyone could learn from Dexter.

“Why are we not going for those things that we think are impossible?” she asks. “It’s impossible for a dog to walk upright, right? But why aren’t we doing that? And I think Dexter proves you can do anything.”

A young woman and her four-legged, furry friend performed a stunning and captivating dance routine in which the two perfectly mimicked one another.

Animals consistently and constantly prove that they possess more intelligence than most people would like to admit. Sure, animals act on instinct, behaviors that are hard-wired into them. But they have shown the ability to also learn new skills, tricks and, as one video shows, dance moves.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Elke Boxoen and her dog Jessy pulled off an intricately choreographed dance routine during the 2019 FCI World Championship Free Style Final. 

As with any dance number, the steps must be perfectly nailed, with no false moves, or all that time, work and preparation are entirely in vain. However, that’s always easier said than done, especially when your dance partner is a furry, four-legged animal. But Elke and Jessy make it look easy!

The clip begins with Elke and Jessy walking out onto the floor as a handful of spectators stand along the outside of the floor, ready and eager to take in the performance. In the center of the floor is a prop. It appears to be a mirror stand with the piece of glass removed.

About a minute into the clip, after Elke and Jessy have taken their positions, the music begins, and their mesmerizing routine gets underway. Most of the clip involves Elke and Jessy standing on either side of the mirror, perfectly matching the other’s movement. 

Their timing is nearly perfect! 

But just when you thought their performance could not get any more impressive, Elke and Jessy raise the bar even further. Around the 2:35-minute mark of the clip, Jessy and Elke perform a series of moves with their backs to one another. They even walk backward and do so in perfect synchronicity!

Those watching the captivating number erupt in a much-deserved round of applause, showing their love and appreciation for Elke and Jessy’s impressive display.

A horse somehow seemed to know and understand that a woman she encountered was pregnant, and the animal’s reaction was almost too cute as it perfectly displayed the perceptive nature of animals.

Like humans, animals are part of God’s creation. The same God who created man and put the sun, moon and stars in the sky also placed dogs, cats, chickens and horses on Earth. As such, animals are much more intelligent than most people would like to admit, demonstrating this consistently. 

Knowing that animals and humans are both from the Creator of the universe, it’s understandable that there would be a kind of connectivity between them. Of course, animals and humans cannot communicate using words. But any pet owner can quickly understand and decipher their animal’s moods and the messages they send with their meows, barks and yelps. 

A video posted on TikTok shows there exists a definite but difficult-to-articulate connection between animals and humans. The short, 20-second clip shows a woman several months pregnant who approaches a horse in a stable. 

Immediately after the woman walks up to the horse, the animal goes right to the woman and begins smelling and rubbing its face on the lady’s protruding stomach. The horse is gentle and loving, acting as if it understands that the woman is pregnant with a child. 

Text in the video pops up that explains that the horse and the woman in the clip had never met prior to the interaction caught on camera. Additionally, at approximately the 12-second mark, more text points out the animal’s intuitive nature, essentially stating that the horse knew the woman was pregnant.

“She didn’t want to say hi to anyone and was really shy but as soon as she saw me she wanted snuggles,” the text reads.

What a sweet and touching moment that shows the often inexplicable but obvious connection between humans and animals.

Three animals separated by a fence refused to let that barrier keep them apart and from enjoying one another’s company.

Separations created by walls, fences and even distance are only effective until someone or something finds a way around them. As the old saying goes, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” Someone bound and determined enough to reach the other side will eventually succeed in their mission. Once that happens, those barriers are rendered essentially useless. 

In a clip posted on TikTok, two enterprising, eager and enthusiastic boxers showed how they overcame a barrier placed in the way of a new friend. 

The short, 30-second clip begins with the boxers in a backyard near a white fence, several feet in height. One of the boxers jumps excitedly near the fence, almost reaching high enough to peer over into the yard next door. The second boxer is basically right underneath the leaping animal, digging away at the ground under the fence.

A few seconds into the clip, viewers get a look at the reason why the white fence has the two boxers so worked up and excited. The camera catches a third dog, a black canine who sticks its face underneath the barrier. It’s clear, from their determined and frantic efforts, that all three animals want to get together for some playtime. 

At about the 17-second mark, it appears two heavy, concert objects have been placed near the canine’s digging site to blunt their progress. However, that doesn’t appear to have slowed them down at all. The two boxers have begun work, moving away the earth from two places along the bottom of the fence. The canine, on the other side, can now stick its entire head underneath the barrier. 

Those three dogs wanted to play together so much that nothing, not even a fence, was going to stand in their way!

One precious rescue dog underwent a multi-hour haircut because his fur was in such horrible shape, and by the end of the process, Lenny looked and acted like a completely different dog. 

Animals are kind, loving and resilient beings. Like humans, they want someone to show them kindness and love because they have so much to give themselves. This is especially true for dogs, as anyone who has had the pleasure of owning one of those furry, four-legged creatures knows.

A clip posted on YouTube begins with a pair of women working together to give Lenny, a rescue dog, a much-needed haircut. Lenny, as the women state several times in the clip, was in bad 

shape. However, as much as the women wanted to help him, Lenny was unsure of the situation initially. It took the animal a few minutes to warm up to the women trying to help him. 

Not only was Lenny's hair in a terrible state but he also didn't smell the greatest.

“He smells like every bad smell I’ve ever smelled combined,” one of the women said.

But by the end of the multi-hour haircut, Lenny’s attitude had totally changed. It was clear he was grateful for the kindness they had shown him.

“The very last part of shaving, he was turning around and giving Lauren kisses,” one of the women in the clip said. “He was a completely different dog.”

After the California animal rescue cleaned up Lenny, they posted a photo of the dog on Instagram. Christina, a foster mom, saw the photo, went over and picked up the newly-groomed animal. While she quickly fell in love with Lenny, she admits that Lenny “looked like a plucked chicken.”

Despite whatever situation Lenny had experienced in his past, he quickly opened up to Christina, her husband and her son. Lenny wanted someone to show him love because he obviously had a ton he wanted to share. 

“It was really love on first sight for everyone,” Christina said.

A woman who is several months pregnant was having an issue getting to her feet when her loving and loyal furry, four-legged friend came to the rescue.

Animals of all shapes and sizes are some of the most loving, dependable, loyal and caring creatures on Earth. Dogs, cats and other furry friends have a knack for quickly getting into our hearts and becoming family members. Most animals are also fiercely protective of their owners, willing to do seemingly anything in their power to keep them safe. 

A clip posted on TikTok provides the perfect example of a loving animal coming to help its somewhat distressed owner. 

The short, 22-second video begins with a pregnant woman sitting outside on the ground. Seconds into the clip, the woman decides she’s had enough sitting and wants to get to her feet. 

However, as the woman attempts to get to her feet, it’s clear that she’s encountered some problems. She struggles for a few moments to get to her feet. She eventually turns over and gets to her knees, with her back to the camera. She can go no further. 

But thankfully, she received some help in the form of a furry, four-legged friend. A dog that appears to be a German Shepherd races over to investigate the situation. The animal then walks around her and places itself, standing underneath her arms. 

The animal stands and allows the woman to steady herself on its back as she safely gets to her feet. 

Once the woman gets to her feet and takes a few steps, she is all smiles. Before the clip ends, the helpful pooch returns to the woman almost as if it's checking up on her to make sure that everything is still OK.

This clip is yet another example that shows the Lord knew exactly what He was doing when he blessed human beings with dogs.

One dog has found a cute and unique way to help him overcome his fear of people and being touched while still getting plenty of love and attention.

Everyone has a past filled with experiences and events that have affected them in one way or another. Past hurts can result in developing fears and people avoiding similar situations in the future. No two people are the same, and as a result, not everyone will respond to a hurtful or painful situation the same. It turns out that is the same for animals. 

A clip posted on YouTube shows a dog, a whippet, who is afraid of being touched. It’s unknown, but it’s likely that the dog endured something in its past that has caused it to react this way whenever someone tries to touch him. But knowing that he still wants love and attention from his owners, the dog has come up with a solution that would have made Linus proud. 

The animal, when he wants to snuggle and get a few head scratches, will entirely cover himself with a blanket and then cuddle with his owners. 

“So, he uses the blanket to get closer to you and get better cuddles,” the dog’s owner said. “He digs his way in or ask you for help, and once he’s under there, he’s brave enough to curl right up in your side and get some proper love like he deserves.”

The woman in the clip provides a possible explanation for why her anxious and fearful dog uses the blanket to get close to her. 

“It’s like an ‘If I can’t see you, you can’t see me’ thing, and when he’s under there, he’s invincible,” the dog’s owner said. 

The woman believes that the dog’s act of using the blanket to shield itself involves a lesson and an idea for our lives.

“The moral of the story is hang on to whatever makes you feel brave,” she said. “We all need a comfort blanket sometimes.”
