A Christian version of 'Oh Danny Boy' that I rewrote about a year ago. I call these remakes 'conversions' as I convert the lyrics from a worldly point of view to a Godly one, much like I was converted from death to life in 1984. I am singing along to a beautiful guitar solo by Eric Clapton off a collection of instrumentals that he performed. Seems like an apt time to publish this with St Paddy's Day upon us. Hope you enjoy this Christianized version of the old Irish classic.
"If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?" (John 3:12)
When I see paintings and sculpture of Nicodemus, I am struck by the look of a man struggling with confronting the truth. I think he sees the truth, even wants to believe, but is afraid, because it would turn his world upside down. Yet he wonders... could it be?...
After witnessing this terrible disaster. I’m reminded of losing my sister in the World Trade Center. My faith was just beginning to grow with God. I became so angry that He let this happen. I began to doubt if He really loved us. Did He really care what
happened to us at all? He reminded me that the things of this world are temporary and imperfect. His love is everlasting and perfect. He gave the ultimate sacrifice of His own life for each one of us. He gave me this song to share. Praise Him with me. Our
God Saves.

This reggae-inspired piece is our praise song for all that is good in our lives. The laid-back Jamaican rhythm with its infectious bass lines (peppered with Trinidadian steel pan harmonies, edgy guitar licks, and contemporary praise lyrics with just a dash of Hebrew thrown in for good measure) is metaphorical - mirroring the many gifts, generous blessings and treasures received from Our Benevolent Father.
We hope that you enjoy this song and in-turn share it with all who are precious to you.

This is our Silver Award project. The girls realized that people did not remember classic campfire songs, so they recorded them with the words and motions to immortalize them. Hopefully they can be passed down from generation to generation. Enjoy!
My first song as a Catholic obeying the Scripture "all generations will call me blessed." After 31 years as an evangelical I discovered that Catholics, worship God alone and honor the mother of our Lord.
The world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business, eating drinking, buying selling, farming building until the morning Lot left Sodom. It will be business as usual right up until the day the Son of Man is revealed. Luke Chapter 17 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 Opening Video Clip Are You Ready? Courtesy of Final Act Productions. 2 Busy 4 Jesus by Get a Life!!!
