This set of seven pieces for piano solo is based on my family members' favorite songs. This 2nd Chorale Etude is mostly a series of canons, using parallel perfect 4ths in the tune most of the time and using inversion and augmentation. The category for my music is Art Music.

This set of seven pieces for piano solo is based on my family members' favorite songs. This 1st Chorale Etude is loosely a fugue, using perfect 4ths extensively horizontally with the chorale tune performed once. The category for my music is Art Music.

The title refers to the bell-like ringing of the notes in the themes and the ending chords. I'm not saying there are bells in Heaven that welcome saints. But, it is a beautiful thought that God would figuratively ring Heaven's bells to welcome those who
believe in Him because of his great love for His people.

Recorded for my band of stragglers! Had to record this quickly, as my 4 year old daughter was running around in the background singing arise, arise!

This was recorded during a practice session for a concert in Lochgilphead Baptist Church. This was the first time we played together as a band. We are not professional musicians, just ordinary people serving God with what we have.
