Worship Session | Sunday, August 22/2022

Was honored to sing this on the Sunday following a beautiful baptismal service at a local lake. The newly baptized were present and I could feel the Holy Spirit throughout the entire service. This was sung at Point of Life Church in Duncan, SC. (pointoflifechurch.com or the POL app). The slogan "A Woman's Right to Choose" is based on 3 false premises:

(1.) We are usually talking about adolescents, not mature women.
(2.) We do not have a "right" to choose death over life, we may have a motive, but not a right.
(3.) We have already made several sequential choices, and because of those choices, we are now faced with yet another final, consequential, and avoidable choice, entirely of our own doing.

A woman's right to choose should not be a political issue.
Morality cannot be legislated.
It's a moral issue.

I wrote “Hold Me Father” during the dark season of my life when I was undergoing treatment for throat cancer. My chance of coming out of surgery with any voice was slim to none. But Heavenly Father told me He saved my voice and I am to use it for His glory.

It has been 20 years since I wrote the words to this song. What a beautiful reminder of His amazing love to see this music video come to completion. I pray the song and the video blessedly move you to know whatever struggle you may go through; I encourage you to invite Heavenly Father to hold you through it. Ask Him to help you cross that mountain, and when your victory comes, sing out praises endlessly to Him for His Glory.

As always, I give all glory, honor and praise to my Heavenly Father, my Savior Yeshua Hamashiach and His Holy Spirit!

Mike Geo is a Christian Contemporary singer/songwriter, from Staten Island, NY. "His charming tenor and acoustic guitar work deliver a cheery enthusiasm, a Jonathan McReynolds-meets-Jamie Grace vibe." -The Journal of Gospel music.

Writing songs since the age of 13, much of Mike’s music covered the topic of loneliness, depression, anger, and hopelessness. It was not until 2020, when he was moved by Jesus, and by his words, that something began to radically change inside of him. That journey led to the release of Grace Over Me on July 8, 2022. 


Grace over Me is a song about how turning to Jesus in the midst of our problems, no matter how big/small, allows His grace to wash over us, and make us new. God's power works best in weakness, and Mike is proud of showing his weakness, through songs, so that God can shine through it.
