When you really love someone, you want to spend time with them. Lots of time. This song is about how Jesus wants us to spend time with Him. He has a table full of a feast and the feast is of His presence and love for us. Jesus wants us to share the deepest things of our heart with Him and He wants to do the same with us. He is preparing us for eternity in Heaven with Him. Take the time to listen to Jesus and you will find your relationship with Jesus will grow deeper.
This song is written like a conversation, first me talking about Jesus wanting me to spend time with me and then it is like a response from Jesus where He is replying to me.

We all feel lost. Lonely, depressed or go through grieving at some time in our lives. This song was written for a lady who was on leave here in New Zealand, having some time off from working in Africa. She was feeling lost, tired, and lonely and was feeling unsure of how she was going to cope with her life back in Africa when she was to return there. She was at the end of herself. I know how she felt, I have been in different situations but the same feelings. God has helped me through those times too.

Jesus wept when His friend had died. He understands what it feels like to be lonely, hurting and at the end of yourself. He is reaching out to you today, let the tears go, allow Him to wipe your tears, wiping them with white linen. Tears can be a vital part of the healing process.

As I was driving home one night after a conference for Women, this song came to me like a flood. I was remembering the journey God had taken me through & healed me. There were some women whose lives had been opened up that night & they needed the hope that what God had brought to the surface, He would then heal as they chose to trust Him in the journey. He can do the same for you in the broken parts of your life too. He will be there with you through every step of the process. Have faith and hope in Him and you can experience the Purest Love of The Father to come and transform your life.

reflects where so many of us are today. We say we love God and trust him 100% with all of our heart, but when it comes down to it, God takes a back seat to our lives. We put him on a shelf and only bring him down when we think we need him. Then we go to church on Sunday putting on our holy christian face. When in reality we don't even read our bible or pray.
God is speaking in this song saying, I hear all your empty prayers and I see all the rituals and emptiness you bring to me. All I long for is for you to surrender your heart to me. All of your sins have been washed away with the sacrifice of my son Jesus Christ. You don't have to pretend anymore! Let me clean and change your heart, all you have to do is surrender.
