"Cold Streets" is a song that explores the reality of life in the inner city on the Southside of Chicago. In 2014 Justin began doing ministry in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago working alongside and eventually on staff with Englewood Family Outreach a Christian non-profit ministry in that neighborhood. While there Justin saw a lot of pain, death, trauma, and hopelessness as he worked with three sets of one historic Chicago gang.

This Song presents three different perspectives of street life. Justin’s verse is first and comes from the perspective of someone not from the streets who has a heart to reach men and women in that life. The second verse features a lyrical heavyweight and brother in the faith Thre; and details his former life in a gang on Chicago's south side and how Jesus saved him out of that. Finally, the last voice on the track is a young man still in a gang in Chicago who is giving his perspective on life and what it is like to be born and raised in that situation.

Cold Streets was Produced by Justin Martyr and is available for free download on his website on justinmartyr305.com/music and on YouTube. The cover art was designed by Andrew Williams. Justin's goal with this song is to present various perspectives of the streets in order to challenge those outside of that life to care and be willing to have compassion and do some work in their closest inner city.

Another goal is to raise awareness of what is going on and to let the streets know that the people of God have a heart to reach them and there is hope for a changed life through the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The streets need to know that they can change for the better. THRE and many others are living proof that God can save you and deliver you out of gang life and make you one of his soldiers that now can bring others to salvation!

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things are new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I wrote 'My Wings are Love' some years ago. It is my story. Its great to look back and see the hand of God upon our lives. It is also good to realise 'in the moment' that this life, amid the great back drop of eternity is very short, and in our brief time on earth, we will face trials and struggles. When we turn to Him, God loves and sustains us no matter what happens. Its good also that in Christ, we can rise above our trials as we press on toward our final goal. Hope you are blessed by this song.

In the mid 1990s we broadcasted a show on local cable called Good News Videos. This particular show was dedicated to anyone who was going through difficult times. It continues to encourage hence the title A Show of Encouragement. (NOTE: Regarding the licensing of videos, we were not provided a written agreement as streaming was not a thing back then. I will state that the record labels would send US the videos and we would copy the videos and send their tapes back to them. So, we do/did have permission to broadcast).

Lyrics:
Hallelujah to the highest name
Yeah time is coming
Which side are you on
Are you going up or are you going down
Praising God to his highest name
Praising God I am not ashamed
Praising God to his highest name
Fighting off evil spirits with the armor of God
Beating back those hellish flames
Will not sell my soul for riches or fame
Unclean spirits get out of God’s temple
Which is my body I said no its that simple
Praising God to his highest name
Praising God I am not ashamed
Squirt pop get out like a fat pimple
Admit to the darkness you feel
Let out all the hidden secrets
Let it all out God is listening
Repent ask for forgiveness
Become reborn again
Deliverance will make a big difference
Speak out now don’t be silent
Praising God to his highest name
Praising God I am not ashamed
Hallelujah praise God
Hallelujah anointed
Hallelujah is what I feel inside
Lets praise him up now
In the name of God
Praising God to his highest name
Praising God I am not ashamed

"The Rapture" is a hip-hop track that teaches about the rapture (the catching up of Christ’s Church by Christ himself, which consists of the dead and living in Christ). Afterwards, Christ takes his Church (Bride) to Heaven for the marriage supper of the Lamb, where they will receive fine linen, white and clean and the tribulation period begins for those left on Earth, ultimately ending with the battle of Armageddon, where Christ returns to Earth from Heaven with his Church (Bride) and the armies of the Earth make war against Christ and his Church (Bride). The beast and false prophet who were successful in deceiving many people, are cast alive into a lake burning with fire and brimstone and all of those who made war against Christ and his Church are slain and the birds eat the flesh of the dead. All of these biblical facts are covered in detail in this hip-hop track as 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 and Revelation 19:7-21 are covered. Remember, those who have not received Christ as their Lord and Savior will be left on Earth to endure the tribulation period, while the Church (Bride of Christ) partakes of the marriage supper of the Lamb with Christ in Heaven. The time to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is now.

LYD features vocals by Solo [Solomon Dixon] and guitars by Kevin Greer, Pianos by Aasha Marie and bass by Sergio Huanango. You are not a mistake
you are not a coincidence
you just happened to be one of the chosen that the odds are against
but you must remain dominant in a hostile environment
because within your mind, body and soul
is Infinite intelligence
So be the solar controller cause like the sun you are to be dominant as you are born brilliant-ingenious-magnificent
and even if you don't comprehend it, God knows that you're relevant
You went down the wrong path, now try the path of knowledge
with no apology for your new ideology, theology
cause then you will see, clearly now, the rain is gone
the pain is a thorn because your a rose
you were left for dead, but Gods child arose
Faith is when you cant see him
intuition is when you hear his voice
Do your thing God!
Told me to tell you...that you are his choice!
Seeking people of the universe, this is yours!
