Safe in the arms of Jesus, safe on His gentle breast,
There by His love o’ershaded, sweetly my soul shall rest.
Hark! ’tis the voice of angels, borne in a song to me.
Over the fields of glory, over the jasper sea.

Refrain

Safe in the arms of Jesus, safe on His gentle breast
There by His love o’ershaded, sweetly my soul shall rest.

Safe in the arms of Jesus, safe from corroding care,
Safe from the world’s temptations, sin cannot harm me there.
Free from the blight of sorrow, free from my doubts and fears;
Only a few more trials, only a few more tears!

Refrain

Jesus, my heart’s dear Refuge, Jesus h

He leadeth me, O blessèd thought!
O words with heav’nly comfort fraught!
Whate’er I do, where’er I be
Still ’tis God’s hand that leadeth me.

Refrain

He leadeth me, He leadeth me,
By His own hand He leadeth me;
His faithful follower I would be,
For by His hand He leadeth me.

Sometimes mid scenes of deepest gloom,
Sometimes where Eden’s bowers bloom,
By waters still, over troubled sea,
Still ’tis His hand that leadeth me.

Refrain

Lord, I would place my hand in Thine,
Nor ever murmur nor repine;
Content, whatever lot I see,
Since ’tis my God that leadeth me.

Refrain

And when my task on earth is done,

To us a child of royal birth,
The Heir of promise, now is giv'n:
Th' Invisible appears on earth
The Son of Man, the God of Heav'n.

A Saviour born in love supreme,
He comes our fallen souls to raise;
He comes His people to redeem
In matchless love and boundless grace.

The Christ, by raptured seers foretold,
Filled with the eternal Spirit's power
Great Prophet, Priest and King behold,
And Lord of all the worlds adore.

The Lord of Hosts the God most high
Shuns not His glorious throne to leave
With joy we welcome from the sky,
With faith into our hearts receive.

While shepherds watched their flocks by night,
All seated on the ground,
The angel of the Lord came down,
And glory shone around,
And glory shone around.

“Fear not!” said he, for mighty dread
Had seized their troubled mind.
“Glad tidings of great joy I bring
To you and all mankind
To you and all mankind.

“To you, in David’s town, this day
Is born of David’s line
A Savior, who is Christ the Lord,
And this shall be the sign,
And this shall be the sign.

“The heavenly Babe you there shall find
To human view displayed,
All meanly wrapped in swathing bands,
And in a manger laid,
And in a manger laid.”

Thus spake the seraph and forthwith

For you I am praying,
For you I am praying,
For you I am praying,
I’m praying for you.

I have a Father; to me He has given
A hope for eternity, blessèd and true;
And soon He will call me to meet Him in Heaven,
But, oh, that He’d let me bring you with me, too!

Refrain

I have a robe; ’tis resplendent in whiteness,
Awaiting in glory my wondering view;
Oh, when I receive it all shining in brightness,
Dear friend, could I see you receiving one, too!

Refrain

When Jesus has found you, tell others the story,
That my loving Savior is your Savior, too;

Kaliwanagan – Miles Away (Acoustic Version)

Miles away, the lights are fading
I can feel the darkness closing in
Miles away, my eyes are failing
I can barely see the road ahead

Do you know where you're going?
Do you know where you're now?
Do you know what you're leaving?
You're so far away home for you to be found

Miles away, my mind is caving
I can't seem to figure out what's real
Miles away, my heart is breaking
I'm too dead inside for me to feel

We have one life, one try,
Come on baby, let's go make things right
Choose life, let's start tonight
Come on honey, let's go for the Ride of our lives

Do you know where you're going?
Do you know where you're now?
Do you know what you're leaving?
You're so far away home for you to be found
So baby come on back home and choose to be found

I asked the Lord that I might grow
In faith, and love, and every grace;
Might more of His salvation know,
And seek, more earnestly, His face.

’Twas He who taught me thus to pray,
And He, I trust, has answered prayer!
But it has been in such a way,
As almost drove me to despair.

I hoped that in some favored hour,
At once He’d answer my request;
And by His love’s constraining pow’r,
Subdue my sins, and give me rest.

Instead of this, He made me feel
The hidden evils of my heart;
And let the angry pow’rs of hell
Assault my soul in every part.

Yea more, with His own hand He seemed
Intent to aggravate my woe;
Crossed all the fair designs I schemed
