She has sung with many gospel recording artists such as Rev. Calvin Bridges, Walt Whitman, Albertina Walker, and Rickey Grundy. While singing with the Faith Tabernacle Voices from Chicago, they had the pleasure to open for the uncomparable Vanessa Bell Armstrong.



Barbara has had a very long and storied career in Gospel Music and she prays she will be able to continue sharing and celebrating her gifts in the Lord with you.

This is the video I made for my church. We didn't use the Tobymac singing part, just the music while we were singing... It includes many of the people from my church.

This is basically my story of meeting God, and learning about Him. It was not an easy journey, but it became one worth taking.

TobyMac pens a powerful song titled ’21 Years’ about the passing of his son, Truett Foster. On October 23, 2019, the 21-year-old son of Christian superstar TobyMac passed away. Truett was an aspiring artist and had already released songs on his own along with collaborations with his father. His death came as a surprise to all and when the news broke, the world’s heart broke. But that heartache pales in comparison to what his father must have felt.

Following his death, TobyMac was led to write a song. In an official statement posted to Facebook, he said, “21 years” is a song I wrote about the recent passing of my firstborn son, Truett Foster McKeehan. I loved him with all my heart. Until something in life hits you this hard, you never know how you will handle it. I am thankful that I have been surrounded by love, starting with God’s and extending to community near and far that have walked with us and carried us everyday. Writing this song felt like an honest confession of the questions, pain, anger, doubt, mercy and promise that describes the journey I’m probably only beginning. The rest is yet to come. One thing I know is that I am not alone. God didn’t promise us a life of no pain or even tragic death, but He did promise He would never leave us or forsake us. And I’m holding dearly to that promise for my son as well as myself.” As we listen to these powerful words, we send up a prayer for anyone who has lost a loved one.
