‘Get Back Your Fight’ Sarah Reeves Lyric Video

Christian music artist Sarah Reeves has released the official lyric video for her new song “Get Back Your Fight.”

In life, people will encounter several situations that bring about fear and anxiety. Understanding that these are uncomfortable and unpleasant feelings, people will naturally avoid circumstances when those emotions are likely to arise. But isn’t doing so only to our detriment?

Sure, fear, at times, helps to keep us safe. There is a fear of jumping from towering heights or swimming in the deepest parts of the ocean. However, fear can also keep us from reaching our full, God-intended potential.

Fear will also cause people to avoid confronting problems, only letting them grow and multiply. Fear keeps people from being honest with themselves about an issue or a situation. As Sarah’s song, “Get Back Your Fight Back” mentions, “Fear is a lie.”

Sarah points out in the song that fear is a trick the devil uses. Fear causes people to believe that things are much worse than they appear and that they are all alone. All of which are lies from Satan himself.

God’s Word, several times, states how He will never leave or forsake us during our time of need. He will remain by our side through it all.

In the song’s chorus, the singer-songwriter mentions how, if you keep moving forward during a trying situation, you’ll get your fight back one day. While the present circumstances may seem bleak, the future is bright, she sings.

“Fear is a lie, we’ll be alright
Don’t let this battle take days off your life
Sun’s gonna shine, future is bright
Promise one day you’re gonna get back your fight”

Sarah’s song is a terrific track with a positive, uplifting message about overcoming and defeating fear and the lies that often accompany it.

Isaiah 41:10 “Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.”

‘Heaven Changes Everything’ Big Daddy Weave Official Music Video

One Christian band, Big Daddy Weave, performs a lovely, uplifting song about how the promise of everlasting life with Jesus Christ in heaven has shifted their perspective on everything in life.

As that verse of Scripture, John 3:16, mentions, “God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not die but have everlasting life.” Because of this hope and faith in Jesus Christ, Christians know Earth is not their final stop, not their eternal home.

Those who believe in Christ and accept Him into their heart as their personal Lord and Savior are promised heaven. Earth is nothing but a temporary place, with heaven as the destination. Things now do not seem so big and don't hurt as much. The death of a loved one is not the final goodbye. There will be a reunion in heaven.

“Heaven Changes Everything" is true and the title of a Big Daddy Weave song. In the official video for the tune, posted on YouTube, the guys mentioned how heaven has literally changed everything in their lives.

In the song’s opening verse, the lyrics state how tears and hurt do not hold much of a sting. Jesus, who is the Comforter and Protector, remains by our side, especially in times of trial and suffering. He provides the necessary healing.

“These tears would just be tears fallin’ down my face
And this hurt would just be hurt with no healing on the way
Thank You, Jesus
Heaven changes everything”

The second verse also points out how, because of Jesus, the death of a loved one does not hurt as much. That goodbye is but temporary, with a reunion set to take place in heaven one day.

Near the song's conclusion, the lyrics point out how Christ and looking toward heaven have altered how one forgives others. Now, because of Christ, there is peace and hope during times of great pain and grief.

Yes, Christ has changed the hearts and lives of many and continues to do so today. Praise God!

‘What Are We Waiting For?’ For King Country Lyric Video

One of the biggest acts in Christian music, For King + Country, is out with another sure-to-be hit song, “What are We Waiting For?”

Time is the most precious commodity that any of us possess. It’s constantly fleeting. Every hour, minute and second that passes means we have less of it. Unlike money or other material possessions, we can never get it back. Once it’s gone, it’s lost forever, never to be recovered or returned.

The Grammy-winning brother duo, For King + Country, points out just how valuable and significant time is in their newest song, “What are We Waiting For?” It’s an item that must not be spent foolishly, but rather wisely and in a way that benefits everyone.

The song’s opening verse mentions how it’s impossible to accomplish anything of value without first putting in the time and effort. The lyrics then push listeners to quit procrastinating and get to work immediately.

The song’s chorus then asks several very important questions.

“What are we praying for?
What are we saving for?
What if we could be the light that no one could ignore?
What are we waiting for?”

Yes, prayer and communicating with God are vital and necessary for any follower. But what if our actions are the answer to prayer? What if, instead of constantly asking God to change someone’s heart and life, we’re the person that has been sent to show them the love of Christ?

As Christians, we are called to minister to the world's lost and hurting. Time is limited and is something that will never be regained. Knowing how little time we have on this earth, what are we waiting for to help someone else, to show kindness, to be a Christ-like example to someone?

James 4:14 “When you are not certain what will take place tomorrow. What is your life? It is a mist, which is seen for a little time and then is gone.”

You've Already Won Shane And Shane Acoustic Performance

Shane & Shane’s acoustic performance of their song, “You’ve Already Won,” delivers a reassuring message for believers and motivation for those who aren’t!

Without a lot of flash and fluff, Shane & Shane use their two powerful voices and one acoustic guitar to remind the faithful that we need not worry about the future or the troubles ahead because Jesus has got us. He’s with his followers each step of the way!

The song, lengthy at nearly six minutes, is packed with wisdom without a single wasted word, and the chorus includes the following lines:

I'm fighting a battle
You've already won
No matter what comes my way
I will overcome

Shane & Shane aren’t brothers, but they almost look like they could be with their similar personal styles and builds. They are, however, brothers in Christ. They met in the late 1990’s while attending Texas A&M University

Both Shanes were making music at the time. In 1997, Shane Barnard released an album with another Texas A&M student, Caleb Carruth. It was titled Salvation Still Remains. And, Shane Everett was performing in area bars. The two met shortly after Shane E. accepted Christ and began attending Shane B.’s Christian fellowship group on the Texas A&M campus.

Here, singer and guitarist Shane Bernard is on the left, and Shane Everett stands on the right. The Shanes write music, perform concerts, and train worship leaders. The two founded The Worship Initiative in 2015. Based in Dallas, Texas, it is a thriving online resource and community for worship leaders and churches.

These two talents have a passion for delivering “artistically compelling and scripturally sound” music to listeners—both believers and searchers. Isn’t it amazing how God works His plans!

He brought together a couple of gifted singers on a giant college campus (there were nearly 57,000 undergraduate students in the Fall of 2021), and he even made sure the two artists could come up with a catchy name for their contemporary Christian music duo!

“The fear of the Lord leads to life; then one rests content, untouched by trouble.” Proverbs 19:23

‘Praise You Anywhere’ Brandon Lake Official Music Video

One of the biggest names in Christian music – Brandon Lake – performs a beautiful song about praising the name of Jesus everywhere, even during the hard times and the struggles.

Life isn’t always exactly a ton of fun. As everyone knows, hurt, heartache and loss are genuine parts of this experience called life. Sometimes it feels like that no matter what we do, we can’t win or even draw even.

However, while it may be difficult to do so, the Bible instructs us to praise God in all situations, even during the bad, trying circumstances of life. In the official music video for his song “Praise You Anywhere,” Brandon Lake reminds us that He is to be praised everywhere and anywhere.

The track's opening verse encourages Christ's followers to give Him praise. The lyrics talk about specific places and times when thanking God may be the furthest thing from our minds. Nevertheless, God is to be praised.

“Sometimes you’ve gotta dance through the darkness
Sing through the fire, praise when it don’t make sense
Sometimes you’ve gotta stare down the giant
Worship from the lion’s den”

When facing these situations, everyone would agree it'd be and is hard to praise God. But Brandon, near the end of the song, adds why he is so willing and able to praise God in the tough times. God has been faithful and kept every promise. There is no reason to doubt He will ever change.

What a wonderful reminder that while it may be difficult, Christians are to praise God and find joy in all situations, even when they are less than ideal. He is still working, and is still in charge, even when it may not appear that way or feel like it.

James 1:2-4 “Let it be all joy to you, my brothers when you undergo tests of every sort. Because you have the knowledge that the testing of your faith gives you the power of going on in hope; but let this power have its full effect, so that you may be made complete, needing nothing.”

‘The Lord’s Prayer It’s Yours’ Matt Maher And TAYA Official Music Video

Two gifted Christian musicians – Matt Maher and TAYA - turned the Lord’s Prayer into a beautiful and catchy song.

God’s Word is essentially the instruction manual for life. The Bible contains lessons and words of wisdom for any situation or circumstance one may face over the course of a lifetime. The verses, chapters and books found in the Bible are still as useful and relevant today as ever.

The Bible has several passages and pieces of Scripture that are recited and memorized by many. John 3:16, Philippians 4:13 and 1 Corinthians chapter 13 are just a few of the verses and chapters that fit neatly into that category.

Another of those often-quoted passages of Scripture includes Jesus’ instructions to his disciples on how and what to pray for in the book of Matthew. Commonly, this passage is referred to as the Lord’s Prayer.

In the official video for the song “The Lord’s Prayer (It’s Yours),” Matt and Taya beautifully sing those instructions and that prayer from Jesus while recording the tune in a studio. The song's verses and chorus ingeniously incorporate Christ's instructions to His 12 disciples in the New Testament book.

“Give us this day, our daily bread, forgive us, forgive us
As we forgive the ones who sinned against us, forgive them
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us
From the evil one”

What a simple but effective idea for a song. The song’s lyrics and the message contained in those words are one that can easily be applied to all. Everyone can be reminded of Christ’s comments on the proper way to talk to and communicate with God. No matter how well one is familiar with the Lord’s Prayer, hearing the words of Christ repeated can only benefit those who hear them.

Matthew 6:7-8 “In praying don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. Therefore, don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask them.”

‘My America’ Danny Gokey Official Music Video

One gifted Christian musician Danny Gokey performed a beautiful song about the hope, wonder and goodness still offered by the United States of America.

In America, one can pick absolutely any issue, and it’s bound to come with people who are ardently in favor of it. On the other hand, that same topic will most certainly have individuals who are steadfastly against it, refusing to budge an inch. The USA, as national 24-hour news channels so often like to portray, is a divided place where every single issue is polarized and divisive.

However, Danny Gokey, in his song “My America” sings that despite the deep partisan divides and some of the ups and downs the country has experienced in its nearly 250-year existence, America is a force for good in the world. It’s a song of hope, optimism and the belief that America can overcome anything in its way.

In the song’s opening verse, Danny states his belief that the United States, even though some feel otherwise, is worth the fight. He’s not ready to give up on the United States of America.

“I hear them say our country’s too far gone
Even claim, our fathers got it wrong
But I won’t give up on us and I’ll take a stand
Cause we can overcome, this is not the end”

Near the tune's conclusion, Danny mentions the USA’s most recognizable symbol of hope and freedom: The Statue of Liberty. He points out how that statue in New York City is, has and always will remain a symbol of hope to the immigrant and refugee seeking to escape hardship and oppression.

The United States of America is not a perfect place. No country and people are without their faults. However, America is still a place where people have the right to live their lives as they see fit. Through hard work and talent, someone can alter the entire trajectory of their lives in the United States of America.

2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

‘Talking To Jesus’ Brandon Lake And Thomas Rhett Live From The Ryman

Two massively talented musicians – Brandon Lake and Thomas Rhett – teamed up for a tune about how actions influence and impact others at a historic Nashville venue.

Christians are to witness and to spread the message of Jesus Christ to others. People, for the most part, believe this means having in-depth conversations about Christ and His death on the cross. Yes, that’s one part of it. But, as the saying goes, actions speak louder than words.

Simply living out your life in a way that honors Christ and adheres to his message and teachings can make a big impact on those around us. Our neighbors and children are always watching, observing to see if our actions really do live up to what our mouths profess.

In the song “Talking to Jesus,” Brandon and Thomas sing about instances in which the actions of someone else influenced and affected their faith. In the opening verse, Brandon mentions how, when he was a child, he would hear his grandmother praying out loud, something she did all her life.

In the second verse, Thomas sings how his mother had him in church every Sunday and Wednesday evening as a child. He admits he fought her nearly every step of the way. But he states his mother let him know how, one day, he would be thankful that God was a part of his life. Turns out, his mother was right.

“Mama used to drag me to church
Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights
Khaki pants and a polo shirt
Y’all know I put up a fight”

Now, as they both sing, because of the actions of their grandmother and mother, they are passing that faith and belief in Christ to others.

Brandon also adds that his son walked in on him while he was praying, which led to both “talking to Jesus.”

Psalm 145:18 “The Lord is near to all them that call on him, to all that call on him in truth.”

‘The Dove’ Kari Jobe And The Belonging Co Acoustic Performance

A group of gifted musicians performed a song about God’s creation, the fall of man and God’s plan of redemption, to bridge the gap sin created between man and Him.

Since Adam and Eve took a bite of the fruit from the forbidden tree in the garden, sin has been present in the world. Death, hurt, destruction, sickness and disease made their way into our world. Man is a fallen and sinful being.

However, God, through the death of His son, Jesus Christ, made a way for man to be brought back to Him, to be redeemed.

Kari Jobe and The Belonging Co. in the song “The Dove” sing about God’s creation, the death of His son and the guiding and loving Holy Spirit.

In the song’s opening verse, the musicians mention how God, who is all-powerful, demonstrated this by simply speaking the world into existence. Man, the lyrics point out, was intended and created to be a “friend of God” and to “dwell in his presence.” But, as we all know, man’s arrogance and ignorance got in the way, bringing about sin, pain and suffering to humanity.

The second verse adds that despite man’s fallen nature, God had a plan to cleanse people of their sins. He sent his one and only son into the world to suffer a painful and horrifying death on the cross. Jesus Christ took our place, making the ultimate sacrifice of love.

The third and final verse mentions that God left the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us. The Holy Spirit is another gift that none of us could ever do anything to earn.

What a lovely song that details man’s fall and God’s loving and perfect plan to bring humans back into a relationship with Him. He has given us a way to overcome sin, to bridge the division sin caused between man and God.

John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will be your teacher in all things and will put in mind of everything I have said to you.”
