‘I know your heart been broke again
I know your prayers ain't been answered yet
I know you're feeling like you got nothing left
Well, lift your head, it ain't over yet, ain't over yet so
Move, keep walkin' soldier keep movin' on
Move, keep walkin' until the mornin' comes
Move, keep walkin' soldier keep movin' on
And lift your head, it ain't over yet, ain't over yet’
The Christian film ‘Beautifully Broken’ follows the story of a refugee’s escape, a prisoner’s promise, and a daughter’s painful secret. All of their lives become intertwined in this true story of hope as three fathers fight to save their families.
Today, we get to hear a very special rendition of TobyMac’s song ‘Move’ created for the film. These words are such a powerful reminder that the Lord is always by our side. Even though, there may be times in our lives where we feel lost or distant from the Lord, He will never abandon us.
The Lord is truly our hope, our light and our strength. Even when we think He may not hear us, the Lord is always listening. When we cry out to Him, He never leaves our side. Through the darkness, He is truly the compass and the light that will always guide us right back home.
These words are the perfect compliment to this upcoming movie. They both share messages of hope and trust in our Lord and Father in Heaven. There is truly healing power in forgiveness and reconciliation.
PLUMB sings Beautifully Broken from the movie coming August 24, 2018 - A refugee’s escape, a prisoner’s promise, and a daughter’s painful secret converge in this inspiring true story of hope. I absolutely adore Reckless Love of God by Cory Asbury! I feel every word as I sing this song and a sense of relief fills me. I wanted to do a cover to show the power of God's reckless love and the fact that he will do anything including leaving the 99 to find us again. We are precious to God and Cory Asbury wrote a song that shows us that. I hope you all enjoy the cover and God bless!

I've always found the blues a great medium for singing about the gospel - I guess it's a good vehicle for the journey from being lost to finding redemption. I recorded this on an album called Trust in the early 1990s. This live version is from Godsong Cafe, a Christian music show on Shine TV in New Zealand.
