I wrote this song one day after going on a hiking trip with a close friend of mine. Watching him with his daughter inspired and moved me. Although not bonded by blood, they are bonded by love. I admire how he loves her just the same.
I wrote this song for a friend of mine, who wrote a book titled "The Restorer of the Breach". The book touched me, and led me to write this song for her, and for others who have been violated by child predators.
I wrote this song one day, when I was thinking about how a parent would try and deal with loosing a child. I pray this song will help heal people who may have experienced just that.

Probably my hardest rock song yet. Music is pretty brutal because the lyrics are about a subject that gets on my nerves the most, that being when atheists and non-believers attack us and tell us "there is no God," and how there's no proof of God, and that we're all crazy. We're welcome to believe what we want, dont try to force me to believe in science (without God), because "I'm standing strong, I will not fall." :)
"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" --Matthew 6:26
At times in our life, we face difficulties and troubles. These may be physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually and it can bring us discouragement and sadness. But there is a God in heaven who cares for us and supplies our every need.

I wrote this song after a close friend of mine was shot and almost lost his life during a drug investigation. His partner lost his life. Police officers protect and serve us everyday. I thank God for them all!!
