Tommy Rieman is a U.S Military veteran who was awarded for risking his life to save a fellow soldier. While serving in Iraq, Tommy's team was attacked and heavy gunfire started all around them. Tommy used his own body to protect his gunner and this resulted in him being shot in his chest and in his arm and he suffered wounds in his leg. Because of his courage, he was awarded the Silver Star, but he did not feel worthy of the recognition he received. People all around him were calling Tommy a hero, but that's not how he saw himself inside. Tommy was back at home while his fellow soldiers were still on the front lines fighting in combat. It was a tough time for Tommy and he began to feel hopeless and out of control. Then, one of Tommy’s co-workers demanded that he go to church with her. That is when his whole life changed. Tommy found his purpose through connecting to Christ and serving in the church and hearing his amazing story truly touched my heart.

Though they may be rivals on the field, off the field these two groups just made the sweetest sound. The West Point Glee Club and the U.S. Naval Academy Glee Club came together for an incredible performance of The National Anthem and now it's got the whole internet talking. Just watch as the snow falls down all around this talented group and they belt out our country's anthem. This is one song that has been performed by thousands of people in multiple different genres, but something about this rendition really hits home for me. As the camera pans over the group, you can truly see the pride that each and every one of them have for the United States and they proudly lift their voices in honor. I always love hearing the anthem and this rendition is one of the best ones I've seen in a very long time. I can't help but to join in on that famous last verse. All throughout the Christmas season, this teenager was on his phone. While the family visited relatives, played in the snow and enjoyed time together, this young boy constantly had his phone on him. Just when I started to get really irritated that he was not cherishing the holiday moments, Christmas day arrived. As everyone woke up and started to open their presents, this teenager reached for his phone and pressed play. That's when the most amazing movie began to play on the television screen. All season long, this young man had been recording his family and all of their special moments. Each Christmas memory was ll there for the family to enjoy for years to come. The entire time that he had his 'head in the phone' he was actually recording the memories to make this special gift. The entire family was overcome with emotion and that hug between father and son nearly sent my heart over the edge. This advertisement will truly tug at your heartstrings and it's one you don't want to miss. Remember to cherish the moments this Christmas season.

5 years ago, 26 children and staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary School lost their lives in a tragic shooting. This horrific event resonated with millions all across the country. As the anniversary approaches, music artist Sheryl Crow was inspired to write a song. As you listen to the lyrics of 'The Dreaming Kind' you will be filled with hope for tomorrow. Sheryl even had her 12-year-old niece, Ava, lend vocals to this powerful number. This sad event will forever be etched in our memories but this special song helps us to heal and move forward. I'm so glad this Grammy award-winning singer was inspired to write this tribute and it's touching to hear it all come together. This is an incident that has weighed heavily on many hearts and these powerful lyrics were just what we needed to hear. Thank you, Sheryl, for putting the feelings into words.

Being a parent isn't always easy, especially when you are trying to find a way to discipline your children without crushing their spirit. Well this dad has his own take on discipline and it is absolutely beautiful. Just watch as this momma saw her husband disciplining their young daughter and she started to secretly record the conversation. Apparently, the father and daughter had been joking around when something this daddy said didn’t sit well with his little one. The little girl lashed out in anger, but instead of yelling, this dad plopped her up on the table and they started to talk. He calmly explained that it's okay to get angry and sometimes you have to let those feelings out, but you have to find a safe and productive way to do that. He goes on to encourage her to talk about her emotions and it's truly an incredible moment to witness. And when you see how this conversation turned an angry little girl right back into a happy kid is truly incredible. I am so glad that this momma recorded this sweet conversation between this loving daddy and his baby girl. Who else wanted hug him?

During the holiday season, many airport travelers can become overwhelmed. On this particular day, at a busy German airport, hundreds of people were waiting around for their flights. That's when a few travelers decided to lighten the mood. Just watch as two passengers began to sing the Christmas classic 'Ding Dong Merrily On High.' And as if that wasn't amazing enough, as their voices grew louder and louder many other people joined in on the fun. More and more Christmas classics started to come to life and before I knew it, an entire flashmob had broken out. The looks on everyone's faces says it all. This spontaneous act of Christmas cheer brought smiles and laughter to all. I love seeing people's eyes light up as they hear these special Christmas songs. It's obvious that this impromptu flashmob really brought some much needed holiday spirit to the busy airport. It's really amazing how just a few holiday songs can instantly lift our moods and help us remember the real reason for the season and that's the birth of Jesus Christ. Showing love to strangers is one of the greatest ways to show people the same love Christ showed when He was on earth. What a loving way to surprise some very stressed out holiday airport passengers during their travels.

Bud was devastated when found out that he lost his son to an alcohol addiction. But that's when he turned to God in the midst of the tragedy. Bud was home when he got a knock at the door late one night and a police officer told him that his son Brannon no longer living. Brannon was an ambitious young man, but alcohol became part of his life and it completely took over. His family tried to him by sending him to rehab but, tragically, Brannon took his own life at the campsite his family used to visit. This father struggling with how such a terrible thing could happen but Bud decided not to blame God and use this event to share the love of Christ. It made him realize that there are people who need to hear the message of Jesus Christ. Though But still cannot understand why his son chose to take his own life, he wants to make sure that he tells other people who are hurting about the hope there is in Jesus. Now he does not hesitate to share the Gospel to everyone he comes in contact with. What an amazing way to turn a tragedy into hope for others.

Each day, Anna visits her father at the assisted living facility and her heart aches as she sees a blank stare instead of the man she loves. That's when she decided to do something amazing for her dad. Anna went to his home and used a camera to film all throughout the house. She even played his favorite song while she walked around. When Anna went back to visit her father, she brought a VR device and asked him to try it on. When he saw the images of his home accompanied by the nostalgic music, all of his memories came flooding back. He remembered his wife and holding his baby girl in the backyard. Each memory becomes sweeter than the last. Finally, he removes the device and looks right at his daughter and says her name, knowing exactly who she is. As soon as she signed up, she was ready to work on her dance moves and started practicing everywhere she went. But when she tried to show her dad the routine that she was working on, he did not seem to pay much attention to her. He was so focused on his work that he seemed to miss all of her moves. Finally, the night of the talent show came around and it was her time to shine but she started to feel overwhelmed by the nerves. That's when the most amazing thing happened and her dad stepped out from the crowd. Just when it seemed like she had forgotten all her moves, her dad began to do the dance that he watched her practice. This entire time, he had been paying attention. The little girl's memory came back to her and she started to dance her heart out. What a special moment that was pulled off beautifully!
