Since women are accepted into the Family of God, and since Jesus himself never discriminated based on gender, it is praiseworthy to celebrate God's provision for women to have a place in church leadership and partake in the roles and responsibilities of serving the Lord's church. Here are three distinct ways women can do just that.

A Proverbs 31 woman yearns to please God and strives to be like this ideal example, but with the understanding that every Christian is a work in progress, brought “to completion in the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).

Nothing is more powerful than placing your hands together and praying for the man God brought into your life. In all honesty, maybe now more than ever, this generation of men needs to be reminded of who they are in Christ and the amazing honor they have in leading, providing, and protecting their families.

God calls all Christians, regardless of gender, to engage in the spiritual battles that take place every day in our fallen world. If you're a woman who's ready to use the power of prayer to fight evil, enter the battle that's happening around you with the confidence that God is on your side.

However, this will mark the second Mother's Day I will celebrate without her precious presence. I still have "all the feels" when it comes to this holiday. As it approaches, it comes with many strings attached. Being that this was the first holiday after she was called to her eternal home, it also holds a bittersweet place in my heart. Mother's Day is indeed difficult.

In our current state, the world is falling further and further away from God and His Truth. What would you be willing to risk to be a light for Jesus? 

Especially for women, it is joyous to see how the Spirit of God is manifested in our personalities, traits, and actions. These attributes are of God's creation and heart; living them out is a gift to each believer in their own walk.

It is important to be familiar with the women in the Bible and to know their lasting impact to be recorded in the Bible. These women did miraculous things out of their love for God and were strengthened by His mighty arm.

When we humble ourselves before the Lord and ask Him to use us for His will and way, we find our purpose. 

Devotional books for women can be a valuable tool in our daily walk with God. While they are not to replace us opening our Bibles, they can be a valuable asset in helping us to connect with God. 

Today if you are walking through fire, these ten Scriptures are for you. If you are restless and irritated, overworked and overwhelmed with the everyday, these ten Scriptures are for you. Or if you are marvelously content with a full, joyous life, these ten Scriptures are for you too. No matter what we are experiencing or feeling, God's promises are to us.

Despite all the choices women have, no matter what gender we are or how old, God called us to be one happy family, serving him according to our gifts and talents. When you become a believer, you become part of "the team," God's team. Our job is not to make sure our views are known or acted upon, whether we are included or not, or what position we can hold.

The Bible uses the word “man” throughout its pages. All twelve disciples were men. Many of the stories we read center on males, including those of Moses, Abraham, Paul, David and Joshua. But what does the Bible say about women? Much, and you might be surprised.

We hear a lot about the male heroes in the Bible, but there are also plenty of stories of courageous women. Their bravery, leadership and faith in God can encourage both men and women today as they face trials and temptations everyday. I was convicted through the years to make sure that my life resembles a Christ-follower, and that I follow a Person, not the rules and expectations of a political association, a religious denomination, or a long-held tradition.

The cultural standard of being a woman isn’t the only voice we have to listen to. There are centuries of women in church history who have paved the way and brought meaning to being a godly woman.
