Dennis knows what it is like to feel alone in a school surrounded by other kids. In many high schools across the country, students sit alone and feel more isolated than at any other time in their day. So Dennis and some of his friends started a club called 'We Dine Together' where they made it their mission to just find people who looked lonely and make a new friend. Their program is spreading to other schools and their simple kindness is changing lives.

International Quartet Champion, Crossroads, is simply stunning in this live performance at the 2016 AIC Show at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. They literally sound like one voice, split into four, as they achieve perfect balance and harmony with "Give Me The Simple Life". What an infectious sound!

Funny mom Kristina Kuzmic never fails to keep things honest! Kristina was once a single mom struggling to make ends meet and she thought that her kids deserved better than her. It broke our hearts to hear her say that, but moms know that feeling! She has a message of encouragement that we all need to hear!

Rocco knows that his momma has really bad asthma and she taught him what to do if there was ever a bad emergency. Rocco is only 7 years old, but when his momma collapsed and couldn't breathe, he jumped into action. Hearing the 911 call and how he stayed calm is truly incredible. This little man is no doubt a hero!

We can often get wrapped up in wanting and worrying about the things that we don't have. It's so healthy to take a pause and ponder all the wonderful things that we do have. This list is a great reminder of where true happiness and contentment comes from.

This community in Kansas City has got it right with this project. They have come together to build a village of tiny houses, specifically for homeless vets. The houses are clustered to give the vets a sense of neighborhood and belonging and the organizers are also providing free PTSD counseling. What an amazing gift! At 91, Norma was diagnosed with terminal cancer. But instead of choosing treatment, she decided that she was going to live her last days to the absolute fullest. She piled herself into an RV with her son and daughter-in-law and they set off across the country. Norma tackled 13,000 miles of highway and 32 states and ticked off a whole bevy of bucket list items. God Bless this woman...what an amazing spirit!

Navy Vet Eddie Browning and his wife, Cindy, had been living in a cold and rundown camper. Some school kids in Rome, GA came to their aid with their plans for a very tiny tiny house. However, they had no place to put it. That's when the community stepped in and expanded the house to 248 square feet, complete with all the amenities that Eddie and Cindy required.
