Dennis knows what it is like to feel alone in a school surrounded by other kids. In many high schools across the country, students sit alone and feel more isolated than at any other time in their day. So Dennis and some of his friends started a club called 'We Dine Together' where they made it their mission to just find people who looked lonely and make a new friend. Their program is spreading to other schools and their simple kindness is changing lives.

This community in Kansas City has got it right with this project. They have come together to build a village of tiny houses, specifically for homeless vets. The houses are clustered to give the vets a sense of neighborhood and belonging and the organizers are also providing free PTSD counseling. What an amazing gift!
