18-year-old Carson has called Tex and Renee Petersen 'mom' and 'dad' for a while now. But just recently, the couple decided to make it legitimate and officially adopt Carson.
Carson spent years in and out of the foster care system before finding a home with The Petersen's. During this time, he experimented with drugs and alcohol. But now, Carson has turned his life around and even started going to church. His future is truly bright thanks to the kindness and example set forth by Tex and Renee.

Mark Feely was walking his dogs and filming them playing on the beach when his dog Storm rushed into the water. Mark had no idea why until he realized the golden retriever had something in his mouth.
As Mark looked closer he noticed that Storm had a baby dear by the back of the neck the way a momma dog carries a puppy. It turns out that poor fawn had gotten swept out in the water and was drowning.
Storm rescued that precious baby and brought the deer gently onto the beach far away from the water. And when you see how this sweet dog gently licked the deer until everything was fine your heart will swell.
Thankfully this fawn is making a full recovery and will soon be ready to be set free, and it's all because of Storm! What a great dog!
Sarah Cummins was all set to wed her fiance in a lavish wedding ceremony. But, unfortunately, she had to call off the wedding at the last minute.
It was too late to cancel on the catering and reception venue, so Sarah decided to something incredible. Instead of letting the food and venue go to waste, Sarah invited the homeless people in her community to come enjoy a catered meal and a fun night out.

Bus driver Duane Butler did not hesitate to stop his bus when he noticed a small boy wandering alone. The 2-year-old child was lost and all by himself around 6:30 in the morning.
Duane invited him onboard the bus while he radioed for additional help. Another kind passenger comforted the young boy while they waited for police officers to arrive.
Eventually, it was discovered that the child had slipped out of his house while his parents were still sleeping. Thanks to Duane's quick thinking, this boy was reunited with his family and free from harm.

Recently, country artist Garth Brooks was playing a concert in Oklahoma when the crowd in the stands started going completely wild. During his hit song 'Unanswered Prayers' a fan named Drew got down on one knee and proposed to his longtime girlfriend Chelsea.
Naturally, the crowd went crazy with happiness! Garth couldn't ignore the roar of the crowd and he stopped his concert to see what was going on. That's when he heard that this had been Drew's plan for months.
Garth was so touched that he offered the couple a huge gift, to pay for their honeymoon! What an incredibly special moment made even better by a giant surprise. Best wishes to the happy couple!

What Would You Do is a hidden camera show that puts everyday people in tough situations. In this particular episode, the show is highlighting the struggles that foster children may face.
Unfortunately, some foster parents take advantage of the system and government benefits that are meant to care for the child. So cameras were set up at a local ice cream parlor and an actress pretended to show preference for her own son over her foster child. This included not allowing her fake foster child to have dessert or threatening to send her back to the system.
Strangers in nearby booths heard this conversation and many chose to step in and say something. This is a heartbreaking situation and I'm so glad that this show tackles the tough issues. What would you have done?
A group of Navy divers in Sri Lanka rushed into action when a poor elephant became caught in the ocean current. The current took the large animal out to sea and it was struggling to keep it's head snd trunk above water.
Cameras capture the dramatic rescue and I was clinging to the edge of my seat the entire time. It took several boats, multiple divers and over 12 hours to rescue the drowning elephant.
I'm so glad these rescuers took the call and saved this majestic creature. God bless them!
