Each morning, 100-year-old Eva wakes up between 3 and 4 am. She immediately heads for her sewing machine because she's a woman on a mission with no time to waste. Eva spends her timing making clothes to place in shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. These boxes will be delivered to children overseas who, otherwise, might not receive a Christmas present. Eva is passionate about her work and says, "I can't get up on a platform and give a message—that isn't my work. The Lord has given me hands with no arthritis, so I do a lot of sewing—I've been given a talent and I make use of it." What an incredible way to use your talents to help others.

Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo, a police officer with the 43rd Precinct of the NYPD, passed away in the line of duty last year. Paul was a beloved coworker and family man. This year, Paul's son Austin is starting kindergarten. Since Austin's father cannot be there to send him off, dozens of officers from Paul's department came to help Austin onto the bus. This incredible showing of support and compassion truly shows us the beautiful part of humanity. I'm so glad everyone could come together and give this young boy a great start to the school year. This will absolutely be a moment he never forgets.

Ben King is a talented cyclist and Tour de France rider. As he continued to progress in the this profession, he pushed his body more and more to become the best. As he climbed the ranks in the cycling world, he put physical and mental strain on his body. As his temper started to get out of control, family members reached out help Ben. But it wasn't until he spit up blood that he realized a drastic change needed to happen. That's when Ben turned to God to help him climb out of the darkness. This man was fishing at Nellie Lake in the Kaiser Wilderness when he discovered an incredible phenomenon. As he sat in a chair, he shouted 'Hey' towards the lake and the result was amazing. Thousands of waterbugs responded to his voice by making ripples all across the water. Every time the man shouted, the reaction became bigger and bigger. I love watching the simple acts of nature that make it truly amaze to witness. God certainly made this earth a beautiful place for us! Have you ever seen anything like this?

Rob Crawford and his girlfriend, Lacie Whitten, were all set to dance in front of a capacity crowd in a showcase at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio, in Memphis, Tennessee. But little did Lacie know that Rob was going to make this a performance she'd never forget. Together, they walked onto the dance floor and started to waltz to 'If This is Love’ from Cinderella. This beautiful dance was going great until it appeared that Rob missed a step. When Lacie turned around, she saw Rob down on one knee with a ring in hand. The look on her face says it all. Sergeant George had been serving overseas for 9 months and now he is finally home. So while his family was visiting the Animal Adventure Park in upstate New York, he disguised himself in a poncho. He quietly approached his children and took of the poncho to reveal his true identity. Just look at the reaction from his kids. What a sweet moment for all to witness!

This moment provided hope and joy to those suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Now, these 2 talented singers and the rest of their gospel choir are singing for Texas again. CBS News anchor and Texas native, Bob Schieffer, is no stranger to hurricanes. Back in 1967, he lived through Hurricane Buela. And just like with Hurricane Harvey, the storm brought so many people together. People from all over used their trucks and boats to help their neighbors and friends. Bob said, "as it always is, we saw the worst bring out our best." Even though so many of these people's lives have been flipped upside down from Hurricane Harvey, they continue to help those in need. Countless acts of kindness have been documented such as strangers banding together to form a human chain and rescuing others. This are truly beautiful moments to witness and I am left with a feeling of hope for our country and it's future. Let's continue to pray for all of the people affected by this tragic storm.

This abandoned Chihuahua had been living on the street for weeks when the amazing team from Hope For Paws received a call. This tiny pup had been wandering around a neighborhood when someone asked these rescuers to step in. The team immediately rushed to action to save the dog from the busy street. This scared animal was a little apprehensive but soon warmed up to the kind rescuers. Within hours, she was given a bath, a good meal and a nice bed to snuggle up in. The team named her Blossom and she's now safe and living in an amazing forever home. God bless these amazing animal lovers

Christian artist Lecrae may be known worldwide for his faith, but many don't know that he almost walked away from Christianity altogether. Listen as Lecrae discusses one of his songs called 'Can't Stop Me Now (Destination)' that was inspired by his struggle with his faith. As he walks through his calling, Lecrae found himself surrounded by unhealthy relationships and people. Thankfully, he put his trust in the Lord, instead of earthly treasures and came out the other side stronger in his faith. I'm so glad Lecrae is able to open up and be honest about his struggles.

This Houston police officer hasn't been home since Hurricane Harvey hit Texas. Like many first responders, he's been working tirelessly to help those in need. While working on his birthday, this officer's daughter gave him a call. This sweet girl wanted to sing 'Happy Birthday' to her daddy and the tears start to build up as soon as she starts singing. This touching moment serves as a reminder of all the kind and brave people that are helping the Texas community. It's amazing to see everyone band together for the common good. I'm still praying for Texas!

Texas couple Dayna Skolkin and Josh Tillis were forced to cancel their wedding in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. But instead of being sad or angry, this couple decided to give back in the most incredible way. They were planning on holding a welcome dinner for family and friends before their wedding. Instead, those gourmet meals went to feed victims of the hurricane. This amazing couple even went to the shelter and helped prepare the food themselves. What an incredible way to turn a disappointing situation into a way to serve others. Wow!

The Piano Guys always give us the most beautiful musical compositions. Today, they're performing a live rendition of 'A Thousand Years' and it's absolutely amazing. This song means so much to so many people and I love hearing it stripped down like this. These talented guys truly know how to blend their sound together to produce such harmony. I bet this was an amazing performance to see in person. What an experience!

When Aric Harding returned to his home in Friendswood, Texas after Hurricane Harvey, he found it completely flooded. As he fetched some of his children's belongings, Aric noticed the family piano. That's when he sat down in knee-deep water and started to play. This touching moment truly shows that there is hope even in the darkest of moments. I'm so glad this man was able to find the beauty even in the midst of tragedy. We will continue to prayer for all the families still dealing with the aftermath of this horrific hurricane.
