God's Presence in the Fire

Testimony Tuesday, hosted by Charles Gates Jr

Pray, pray, pray in tongues

Now is the time to pray in tongues more then ever and you get to enter the rest. Tongues is God's language (heaven's language, the language of angels). Let God speak through you so the angels can go make your way straight.

Life-Size Puppetry Routine Shares Emotional Story Of Girl And Dog On AGT

In this creative audition on America’s Got Talent, one group from a theatre company does a life-size puppetry routine that shares an emotional story about a girl and a dog. Lightwave Theatre Company is from Romania, and the group has big plans for their audition. “What we want to transmit to the American people is to be there for one another, to be generous,” says Petro, one of the members of the Lightwave Theatre Company. “We like to give people hope with the stories we are presenting on stage,” says Christina, another member of the group. After the stage is set up for their performance, the lights go down and the music starts. The puppetry group is performing to the song ‘Carry You’ by Ruelle. At the start of it, a girl and a dog, both life-size puppets, appear on the stage. The little girl goes outside of her house and starts playing with the dog in the street. Then a car with their headlights shining comes driving through and is heading right to where the girl is standing. The dog jumps to push the girl out of the car’s way, and he ends up getting hit by the car. At first, we don’t know if the dog made it, but then he starts to wag his tail, showing that he is ok. “He’s alive!” says Sophia Vergara happily while she starts clapping. “It’s got all the elements, fear, loneliness, love, laughter and happiness with a good ending and creative presence,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “Keep up the good work. Even if they don't get any further, they have been exposed on the largest stage to the largest audience on earth and have made their mark.” “I didn't realize I was holding my breath until the dog moved,” writes another person online. “The fact that we're happy and relieved a puppet didn't die is a testament to how special dogs are.” What a creative audition performed by such a talented group of people!

Bruno The Bear Walks 400 Miles Cross Country Searching for Love

In his search for love, one American black bear known as Bruno has walked over 400 miles across the country and has been spotted all over from Illinois to Iowa to Missouri. Bruno’s journey first started in May 2020 when he was spotted in Gillingham, Wisconsin. Then he made his way into Illinois, then Iowa, and back to Illinois. From there, the bear made his way south and swam across the Mississippi River into Missouri. During his travels, Bruno the bear has turned into quite the social media phenomenon. Every part of his migration has been tracked, and he has over 150,000 fans on Facebook! They are all posting photos and videos of Bruno sightings from the states that he has traveled through. In Berry, Illinois, Bruno even got a police escort while he was crossing the highway there! Biologists say that Bruno is possibly migrating to find a mate, but other factors could also be at play. It could be because of environmental pressures or a loss of resources. Also, there could be pressures from competition that could lead a bear to migrate to another area. Whatever the reason for his journey, people have loved tracking Bruno and seeing where the bear was off to next. American black bears are magnificent creatures, and they are beautiful animals to marvel at from afar. But because Bruno’s quest had most recently put him in a suburb of St. Louis, the Missouri Department of Conservation had to humanely tranquilize him for his own safety and for the safety of the public. They will transport Bruno to a place that is more in the wilderness and away from cars, buildings, and people. We hope Bruno does find his mate, if that is what he is looking for during this long journey of his!

Singer Performs Frank Sinatra Hit To Fulfill Dying Woman's Last Request

In this heartwarming video, one singer performs a classic Frank Sinatra song, ‘The Way You Look Tonight,’ in order to fulfill one dying woman’s last request. “Lovely, never, ever change. Keep that breathless charm. Won't you please arrange it? Cause I love you Just the way you look tonight.” “This 86-year-old woman had one dying wish – to see her favorite musician, a local singer from South Florida, perform,” says the caption of this video on Facebook. “So, he came to her bedside to serenade her one last time.” What a sweet and tender moment! And what an amazing voice this man has! “We’re here with Shirley,” the singer says during a musical interlude. “Go Shirley! C’mon, baby! Yeah!” He starts to say this to encourage her while she is moving her arms around and dancing in her bed. “You are my number one fan, you know that? You know that, right? My number one fan,” he says the elderly woman. As he starts to sing again, he grabs her hand and she looks so happy to have him there by her side. She must have felt so excited and loved to have her favorite local singer giving her a special private performance! What a wonderful moment. As the singer croons out his last line, he kneels by Shirley’s bedside, grabs her hand, and looks into her eyes. And then he beautifully sings the final words of the song, “just the way you look tonight,” to which she responds, “You’re very special.” “What a sweet person and great singing! That was so wonderful for her,” writes someone on the Facebook video. “I love these feel good stories,” comments another person on the video. “So much doom and gloom in the world but there are still good, kind, and decent people doing great things.” We hope this sweet woman had the time of her life being serenaded by this kind and talented man!

Brandon Leake Earns Golden Buzzer With First Spoken Word Poetry Performance

In this moving performance, Brandon Leake earns the golden buzzer for America’s Got Talent’s first spoken word poetry audition. This 27-year-old from California just left his job teaching high school English and is now a counselor at a community college. Before his audition, Brandon shared a little about his life and how he grew up in a neighborhood where drugs and gang violence were rampant. His mother had to work multiple jobs in order to make sure that he was provided for. During his teen years, Brandon let out his frustrations through creativity. “Writing was most certainly an escape for me,” he shares. Now, he volunteers by running poetry workshops to help the youth in his city. “I do like my job. But in terms of my passion, what I would love to do is being able to turn my art into my full-time work,” Brandon explains. After Brandon tells the judges that he will be the first spoken word artist to appear on AGT, Simon Cowell seems a little apprehensive about judging his first poetry audition. Brandon says, “I’m a great intro for you. I bring more about life experience, things that every-day people go through.” Brandon goes on to share a spoken word poem about his sister, Danielle. As you listen to his words, you find out that his little sister died when she was young. “Her smile is as wide as the universe. Her eyes they glimmer like the stars. She is my world and my sister,” he says. “And that’s the cost of love. Caring for someone so much that you can’t imagine living life without them. Staring at a grave like ‘How bout I trade my six feet for yours,’ but that’s not real.” As Brandon ends his poem, the judges reflect on what they just watched. “My brother passed away the same year that your sister passed away,” Sophia Vergara says. “I can feel your pain. I know what this is. I know what it is to have somebody taken from you without you knowing. But it was very beautiful for me.” “What an amazing tribute,” says Simon Cowell. “There’s something very, very special about you. This is a very difficult thing for me to judge. I shouldn’t be judging it. I just want to compliment you on what you just did because it was extraordinary.” Howie Mandel is the last judge to speak. “It’s amazing to me that on season 15, it’s the first time that we’re hearing somebody’s spoken word,” he says. “There was something more raw in the way it’s like singing and talking and just being a human acapella. No music, no nothing, just a raw heart beating in front of us. We feel your pain, we feel your love, and you moved me to do this.” Then he presses the golden buzzer! Brandon is in total disbelief. What an amazing moment! We can’t wait to see him and more of his spoken word at the AGT live show!

Loren Allred's Viral Performance Of 'Never Enough'

Loren Allred performs a stunning rendition of ‘Never Enough’ with David Foster. This popular tune was featured in the movie, The Greatest Showman. The film was released in 2017 and starred Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams. It told the story behind P.T. Barnum and how this showman created the Barnum & Bailey Circus. The music featured in the film because an instant classic. One of the most popular tunes is ‘Never Enough.’ “All the shine of a thousand spotlights All the stars we steal from the nightsky Will never be enough Never be enough Towers of gold are still too little These hands could hold the world but it'll Never be enough Never be enough For me” Loren Allred is actually the singing voice behind Rebecca Ferguson's character of Jenny Lind in the film. Loren’s rendition of ‘Never Enough’ became a worldwide phenomenon and capitulated Loren to international recognition. But many remember this incredible performer as a contestant on season three of The Voice. Loren was eliminated during the live shows, but her appearance led to career opportunities that eventually landed her the part in The Greatest Showman. Today, Loren is performing the iconic tune as part of the PBS event “An Intimate Evening with David Foster.” With famed composer David Foster in piano, Loren belts out these words so many of us have connected with. There is no doubt that this song will go down in history as one of the greatest musical numbers and this performance is just as flawless.
